What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

IPC Bullet Point Case Study (basic introduction and key points specific to why they may choose my magazine to publish):

IPC Media is the UK's leading consumer magazine and digital publisher. It has 60 iconic media brands, IPC creates content for multiple platforms, across print, online, mobile, tablets and events. They engage with 26 million UK adults - almost two thirds of UK women and over 40% of UK men. Their websites reaches over 25 million global users every month.


- IPC was founded in 1958

- In the 1950's the upsurge in the music scene saw the arrival of New Musical Express in 1952. 

- In the 1990's NME become the first major UK music title to get its own internet site nme.com.

-NME announces the launch of the Monster NME Radar Tour 2013, showcasing the most exciting new bands of 2013.

-NME music magazine has a magazine genre of rock, alternative music and indie.

-IPC only has one music magazine 

-IPC also tries to appeal to teenagers (Teen Now)
